The Battle of Bosworth brand
is the project of Joch Bosworth and his
life partner Louise Hemsley Smith. Joch
is a well-known grape grower in the McLaren
Vale while Louise has oodles of experience
in the exporting of fine wine at such properties
as D'Arenberg and Penny's Hill. Joch and
Louise utilize the winemaking talents of
Ben Riggs, one of Australia’s best
known winemakers. The wines are organically
grown, traditionally vinified and made in
the true McLaren Vale style. The wines show
flavor profiles of chocolate and coffee,
and offer enough restraint to make them
fine partners to pair with your favorite
red meats.
